Semen is an excellent wood glue. That's my secret.
x2, I just wish would have listened earlier before i wasted my time using gorilla glue on my first boxreally dont need one..Wood glue>gorilla glue. The only people that use gorilla glue are those who havent tried a good wood glue yet. Gorilla glue makes a mechanical bond (just sticks the two pieces together) wood glue makes a chemical bond and fuses the wood together. Plus gorilla glue expands and fvcks up your straight joints
There is no need for it, wood glue is superior. It's chemistry, nothing more. Gorilla glue is strong, but not as strong as wood glue. It literally fuses the panels together using a chemical reaction versus gorilla glue which just holds the wood together. No comparison, which is why you don't see any carpenters using gorilla glue on their large wood construction pieces.can we make the gorilla glue vs. all other wood glue argument a sticky in this forum?
