Out of curiousity, how much does shipping usually run for a box, let's say a 3 cu ft ported box?

Depends how far its going. Usually 25-40

Not really slid in but where it fits in i had no idea you did that. Where the straight cut router is used.

O, gotcha. Yea, the side piece thats rabbeted actually sits in the groove made by the straight bit.

Your talking about the carpet on the side edges right? Yea, they get glued before it gets tucked in.
