Box Build RE MT 18

Ok so ima start a build for my mt soon and just keep going through designs and cant stick with one. Hopefully ill be able to build soon.

Going ported for sure now. Have about 1 1/2 slabs of wood to work with.

shooting for around 8- 8.5 cubes with ~35 hz tunning.

any recommendations?

thats my design for now. Just reinstalled xp so i lost all my textures so the wood will just have to be a plain color for now.

approx: (22 deep x 20 tall x 35 wide) inner dimensions

no no....just threads...whenever u think of something and its not done on the stove in ur brain...just let it simmer a lil while longer til u have all the pieces than spring it forward on this forum

aight enough dumping man. Ive been thinking about this build for a while, now that my vacation started i plan on doing some work very soon. Just trying to a get a design that looks good and then create a cut sheet. Just trying to get some opinions from the audio gurus.

Might let my buddy borrow it for a lil bit if it fits in his truck. The subs been sitting for to long and i feel the need to build it a home.

8.5 cubes is alot for an MT 18. i have two, and they have about 6.5 to 7 a piece. and im thinking bout making the box even smaller.

ok thats the type of feedback im looking for. Ive had a hard time finding what box the 18 mt's like. I saw some build that had 8.5 cubes with the dual slot ports but besides that i haven't seen any others.

Ill have to shrink the box width wise.

agreed you shoulda had pics or some kind of design... but meh.

It should like 8 or so cubes tuned to there about. just make sure you have enough port area to let the monster breathe
