how did the baffle for the sub turn out?

The second baffle i had to make turned out "ok" i should have made the whole even smaller because some of the mounting holes are right on the edge. The t-nuts give it a little more to grab on too though soo it should be fine.

i love the build but u should have kept it at 8.5 cubes
u would have had more autority in the lowend doing 8.5 vs 7

but all in all...good build..birch wood ftmfw!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well it was an experience working with this box anyway and i enjoyed it.

The birch is really alot more pleasing to work with.

yeah i realized it when i had to lift the box by myself into the back of my car. That tripple baffle does have some weight to it though.

Less dust ftw, mdf dust gets all over the place and takes a while to settle down, this stuff doesn't even bother me, no more mdf buggers!!!

your not the only anxious one. Ive been slacking evertime my buddy came over cuz by the time we were able to test it out, it was to dark. Now something went down with his system so i got help him fix it first.

sorry bout the delay guys. I got 1 video atm and it wasn't getting close to enough power but here it goes anyway.



yes i know its not much but to get it power we used like a 10 foot jumper cable from my friends car to my car to power it, sure there was alot of resistance so im not sure how much power the sub got. Im hoping to get some in car vids but im not sure how soon i can do that.

I could plainly see it was starving for power.

in that last vid, the whole box was actually bouncing around about a quarter inch or so, for some reason the camera didnt pick it up.

summary:

I had a battery, battery charger, an amp, and my box laying around so i decided to hook it up for a little bit and see what happens.

Conclusion:

Thats my temporary car.... well for that last freaking year. yeah its a fun ride... best part is it only cost me $500. but for daily driving in any type of weather... it sucks. Theres a crack in the exhaust and its harsh on me ears //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif i wish i could but a sub in it but i think someone woudl take it .. maybe. someone jsut jacked my 20$deck...
