box build questions on design etc for Mustang

Build info:

Vehicle: 2008 Mustang gt500

Subs: JBL Gti Mkii 10's

Goal: SQ

Amps: JBL Bpx 500.1 1 for ea sub

So I have a box design that I seen on another site in their build logs (IMO this is an awesome job on the install). Im pretty set on it but still open to other folks input. Ive been told by many that for SQ I need to stay sealed, so Ill take that as truth although ported would be nice. Looking for input on this. Can you have SQ with a port?

How do I determine what "tune" the subs need/want for an application.

JBL site says the play 16hz-1khZ response. JBL also recommends .75 cu for sealed.

They say to use fiber fill. doesnt look like it is in this box below. How could I do this type of box and follow JBLs recommendations. Any idea of why it may not have been used?

Anyone have persoanl experience with these subs ported or sealed. On other forums I hear they do well in every app.

not bad I would throw some led lights in there as well
