hello i built a ton of boxes before.since i love this site and people actually know what they are talking about i need some opinions im building a box for my 1999 300m for two kicker comp 12's this years models. my box dimensions overall are 13*13*15l,w,h but i want a ported box i got 1.82 a side (inner dimensions) but the port is 2*12.5*16long factory specs. u can see the hieght of the port is a problem. any suggestions if i put it vertically ill have a step in the box on top if i put it horizontaly there no room for the sub just looking for suggestions thanks

I don't come up with the same numbers as you got. I get a total volume of 1.46 cuft. So ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Now your talking 4.29 net. You got roughly 2 cuft per outer minues displacement. You also have roughly 19" per side length wise. So slap that there port in there length wise and you'll be straight //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If those are inner dimensions how are you going to lose 2" ? maybe 1" if you have seperate chambers. and the 12" is the outer diameter. The cutout is at least 1/2" smaller. If your interior dimension is 13" tall the front panel will actually be 14 1/2" With 3/4 " 15" with 1". //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
