There is a pretty easy way to make angled cuts on a table saw without messing with a miter gague (and make them perfect). //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifHow are you cutting your angles (not the panel edges, I mean your panels that might be 5" long on top, and 8" long on bottom)? I always end up ****in up with the jigsaw unless my fence is DEAD on.

Carpet will go down into the cutout for the plexi, juts like I do with my flush mount subs... Then the plexi will fit in there, and be screwed down.certainly looks purty and I bet it will look even better all loaded up. I really think ya should put some form of light in there, even if its not colored just something to make the viewing of the sub easier, that is pretty much the reason for the plexi right? maybe a red light to go with the red basket.
Also I am curious to see how you are going to mount the plexi, and the carpet job as that is the part I generally screw up. Are you going to rabbit a slot into the plexi to tuck in the carpet and hide the screws or glue or whatever you use to mount it?
Either way it looks sweet and can't wait to see it all loaded up. *reminds me* gotta go and look back at the last build to see if there are any installed pics
Ahhhh, that works, I am just trying to envision how I wanna do it when I get around to building my box. Not every day ya get to see a high quality box that utilizes plexi, so I figured I would ask.Carpet will go down into the cutout for the plexi, juts like I do with my flush mount subs... Then the plexi will fit in there, and be screwed down.
Kinda looks that way, but its actually a sticker on the back side of the plexi. Its a etched look material...Is that logo laser engraved?
