just a tip for who ever recieves the box.. take a lighter and senge the carpet around the port it will give a cleaner look... besure not to burn it though u just want to senge it

wow that doesnt look so good.... clean up that port carpet and looks like u missed some of the paint in the port...hope he didnt pay for that box

My blade was a little dull so it may not be perfect but it's not that bad or I whould have recarpeted it, Ipve done it before.

The port is all painted, you can see in earlier pics that it was so that must have just been the flash.

that dont look like carpet...it looks like that fabric from walmart(I should know i work there and use it)
The fabric it thinner, harder to cut, BUT its like 2.77 a yard or so

It' good quality, non backed automotive carpet. I don't use cheap crap.

well he is going to have a problem ... he has already stated that it looks bad 175 for that box... man i dont even charge that for a box like that .... looks like benner410 got it without lube... id suggest working on ur building skills before trying to charge that kinda money...

$175 is alot. And that carpet looks pretty bad.

We will see what he thinks when it gets there, and it would have been a lot less than $125 if he didn't have to pay for shipping from NY to Texas, he knew the price up front and agreed to it, and again if he has a problem with the box I will deal with it.

^Yea, Id have to back SPY on this...shipping is a b!tch for enclosures and is a huge part of the price (sometimes more than the enclosure itself)...so in reality, this enclosure is cheaper than that 125 dollar one in the sense that if you subtract shipping it would be around/under that '$125' mark.

I guess you were right about him getting another box built, but why? This one seems legit. All because the carpeting job was bad? Price is about right with shipping, so that couldn't be it? Sounds to me like Spy just got screwed in this situation.
