Box Build Advice

well i just got a 10w6v2 and a 500/1 as my new sub setup. i was gonna start to build a box and i had a few questions. i dont really listen to loud music, just mainly rock at a decent volume. although every now and again, i would listen to some rap. would a sealed or ported/vented box be more up my alley? if i go sealed, would the w6 still have enough boom for me? im really looking for sq here. also, if im not mistaken, the 10w6v2 needs 1 cubic ft of airspace, is that correct? ive heard that i should build a box slightly larger than what jl recommends.

i had a w6 in a tapped horn and loved it never really got to test much with it. but its something you could look into
