Bought a Camaro z28

I *think* his was a '92. It had ground effects, t-tops, factory alum wheels, 5.7 TPI, etc. It looked like this one, only bright red:

That's not a pic of my brothers car, its a random pic I found on the internet that looked the same.

The rotating pod was on berlinettas. I had one. It had no place to easily put an aftermarket deck in it. Sucked.

one problem i need to fix with this car is dem spongy brakes, i think it might be the master. Funny sh1t going almost 80 mph on the interstate back to where i live, having to pump dem brakes. I even had my hand on the e-brake ready just incase the unexpected came

Nope.....the IROC package was a $3,500 option in 87.

I may be wrong, but wasn't the RS a 5.3 v8?

It was a 5.0L V8 either thottle body or carb'd. TPI motors did not come on the RS

That year may have been, but not all of them. My brother had an RS with the 5.7TPI. His was made after they'd dropped the iroc-z tho.

Interesting. The only 5.7L RS Camaro's I'm aware of had the police code option.

Not a bad lookin z28. Personally I woulda only gave about 1500 but that's just me. I've been looking at getting a f body z28 ls1. Prob gonna try to trade my 05 Zx10 for one.
