Boston G-5 A Forgotten Sub On This Forum..

We all know how FI has taken over this forum. I have no doubt from all of the ravings and reviews of the sub, Q, BTL, and so forth, it is a great sub. One of the drawbacks is never getting to hear the sub Before you buy it. I have had my new Boston G-5 now for about a week, and it is simply amazing. It oozes of SQ. I have 600 RMS going into it and it is loud as hell. You can get to hear this sub Before you buy it I am really suprised how this sub gets lost on this forum. You will have to pay a little more for it than a FI, but there is no way you can go wrong with a G-5. Simply a fabulous sub! I just wish it would get a little more attention around here. we sell them at work, really excellent subs, nice build, you can screw in a new set of soft parts if you blow it

weve done some with the passive radiator and ported and the pr system for their sizes do nicely

i had a pair of ten inch G5s, but i only ran one on an old school mtx 250 and i got asked many a time how many 12s i had. great subs, devinitly overlooked

Mine is a 12' in a custom ported box. I love it! Definantly a sub with class.

I would take a G5 over an Fi Q anyday of the week and yes I have heard both. Own an Fi, buddy has 2 12" G-5's in hatch Focus. Sounds wonderful!

Why would it matter if it gets more attention around here? Does it not sound as good when it doesn't feel popular?

P.S. I think there are a dozen subs better than Fi's. Fi subs are above decent, sure, but they just got to ride the forum boner train. I mean, if they are so great and just a gift from god himself, why do you see SOOOO many of them for sale on here?

I think as I get to know this sub better, how impressive just 1 12' G-5 actually is. The sound it puts out is unreal. So full, clean and very acurate. Jl Audio, eat your heart out. LOL!

I agree, the G5 is a very nice sub and it is odd that it is not mentioned / recommended more often.

Mine is up for sale due to me not wanting to send it back to Fi for the 2nd time. Let somebody else deal with this ish.

my buddy just got one with a PR and a did a short build log for the box a few days ago, i kinda forgot to put up more pics though.... anyways we hooked it up in my truck (which currently has a 15" Q in it) and it sounded pretty **** amazing! i'll admit, im jealous of the sound quality...

Being that FI is a direct and internet only company (in the USA) it is inevitable that you will see quite a few of their products for sale through the same medium that they are sold -- internet forums.
