The older ones took a substantial amount of power more then the new ones also. The older ones could take 400 watts per side if I remember the specs on my old ones correctly.

i think i remember seeing them rated around 500rms per side.... its gotta be such an improvment over what i got , i think it kinda sounds weird compared to other stuff ive had....
