Boss HU

Hey I am wondering are the Boss DVD HU "junk"? I seen them at my local Brands Mart and was just wondering if they are trash or not. I am looking to buy a new HU to upgrade from my Dual

BOSS use to offer a 5 year warranty on their stuff...i'm not sure if they still do...but anyone offering a 5 year warranty has to be well made

it wouldnt be my choice. for quite a few reasons.

are you wanting a flip out specifically or did that one just catch you eye.

Thats true. So this HU should be Okay? It cost more at the store but cheaper online. So if anything I am going to order it.. It says 85wx4 witch is good.

I want a flip out something different. But if this unit is "Trash".. I am not going to get it. But in the store it looked nice

85x4 is very good...most decks like Pioneer ....Alpine or Kenwoods are usually only around 50x4.....You shouldn't need an external amp on your speakers with that much power .....so that will save you some money also

Yeah it is good. Most decks only do 50x4 like you said. I already have a amp and everything. I was just using a Dual HU and its time to get something new because the Dual acts up when it is cold out..

It looks like it has a lot of features ...you can get them from Sonic Electronics for $199.99 shipped they are recomended by this site and have a 5 star rating....you can also get a free dash kit and wiring harness...but have to request it....it can be for another car or just so you have a spare...its free
