So recently I purchased a excelon kdc x794 from crutchfield. Anyhow I installed it only to find out the RCA outputs didn't work. When I contacted crutchfield about it earlier this month they told me they were out and it was on backorder. I now received a call from them that the model has been replaced with the x895 which they will be giving me for the same price ($180). I can't seem to find much information on this headunit. Anyone have one yet or use it? I'm just slightly concerned because sometimes upgrades aren't always for the better and I really loved just about everything with the kdc-x794 (besides the fact my RCA outputs didn't work).

You got a good deal.

The KDC-X895 ($290.00 suggested retail price) offers built-in Bluetooth and a dedicated front panel key that is reserved for hands-free cell phone operation. Adding to the safety factor is a three-line display that can be switched to a larger font, two-line format for easier reading of phone numbers, music and source data. Variable color illumination of the display and backlit keys allows the user to match the color of the KDC-X895 to the dashboard lighting of almost any vehicle. With front panel mounted USB and stereo auxiliary input, the KDC-X895 can conveniently connect to a wide variety of portable devices such as iPod, iTouch, iPhone, thumb drive and portable mass storage.

ahh ok I couldn't find much info on it so I was worried. Thanks for the input guys. I was sure it would probably be a good trade off, just wanted to get some more information.
