To the Harley guy: Your rights end where my nose (and ears) begin. Those overly loud bikes make more noise than a siren and me being a vet and all, those noises really get on my nerves. Take responsibility and respect your fellow humans by riding extra-carefully without annoying the rest of us.
To the bump-n-thumps: BOOM-BOOM-BOOM doesn't win friends when done in the wrong places. I'm glad some members of the audio community know when it's right to make some noise and when it isn't. I like my music as much as the next guy but I'm not going to shove it in other's faces. It's called common consideration, which seems to be a missing ingredient in some people.
Now if you want LOUD, as in "you could not hear yourself scream LOUD", try driving under a KC-135 that is on full throttle after just achieving liftoff...LOL! They're louder than a B-52 or anything else I have heard!
