Only thing I ever did with a blowgun was shoot cats when I was kid in my grandfather's neighborhood. I remember my cousin shot me with one of the blunt "stun darts" and it hurt terribly at 8 years of age.

We did stick a cat or two though.

Its fun in the spring time and summer going down to the creek and hunting copperheads and water mocassins with them...usually we always used the poision off the skins of the colored toads on the tips of the darts...the poision will basically paralyze the snakes....and we'll get 20 or so in an old potatoe sack then empty it that evening in the bed of some buddies truck...and sit back and get a few laughs .....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i made my own with pvc, yarn, pins, and erasers.
