OH I need to go reread apparently, must be stacking them
Yep there will be 3 of the “4ks” wired at 0.5 ohm. 1 per pair of subs. They do around 5500w at 14.4v I believe so should be good amount of power [emoji4]
Can’t stack them all in front of the port as that would block it too much. So I’m thinking one will go in front of the port as seen in the pics above then one on each of the side walls that will be built on each side of the battery rack (where the small pieces of 2x4s can be seen).
Making a little more progress.
Wired up the terminals on the outside of the box (connected pairs of subs at these terminals). Still need to run the wires into the cab but ran out of 8 awg. Got more on the way for next week.
Started messing with my rca box location. I want it hidden and as far away from any power wires as possible so I somehow managed to fit it below the deck.
However, the lower dash piece that covers this area would no longer fit. So I decided to cut out my change holder since I won’t be using it and the center console will cover it up anyways. Fits like a glove now!
Got the remote wire from the deck temporarily connected to a relay to turn on the 4K amps and one 800.4 amp for the time being. I know it’s a mess but i don’t want to install my full relay/fuse panel until the center console is started. I also have to mock up some cardboard templates for the rear walls and rear window before Saturday so we can try and get those started! I got a flexible curve in today though so that should help a lot with making the cardboard templates! So much to do in such little time!
Sealed up the hole in the floor with silicone where the 4/0 comes into the cab. Should be water tight now.
