this thread reminded me of last night when i met these two old women, they had to be in their 60's, and they smoke weed everday, one of em rolls 10 joints every morning when she gets up..........

IMHO drinking is worse than smoking. When people are stoned, most of the time they just sit there and do nothing. When people drink, you get the fun ill effects of vomiting, usually followed by vomiting, and then a dui or ramming into another car, and then a dui/manslaughter. Both will kill you eventually anyway. Lung cancer or a liver harder than diamond, neither are good for ya.

I never push it on other people.If someone wants to smoke, they'll come out with it.Other than that keep the shit in the circle of people you usually smoke with.

It's as ok as drinking, as smoking cigarettes, only looked down apon because it's "illegal" and for some VERY stupid reasons.We all know it's not illegal because it's deadly or really dangerous.

There's no reason for you to think you're superior to someone because they do something you don't, or vise versa.And telling someone to end their life because they smoke once or twice a month is pretty stupid. In fact, it makes you one of dumbest people in this thread.

i do belive that smoking pot is more dangerous than drinking

i think smoking cigarettes should be outlawed

I think that this student or former student has the right to say what he wants to and maybe this kid was just trying to get on tv. Just as many other people do at athletic events. If he did truly mean wat he said then so be it. I also think that kids should be able to use freedom of speech even on school property. If freedom of speech wasnt "alive" then who would we be today. We would still have slaves women wouldnt be allowed to vote, and many other things. Just think about it for a second. If this student is silenced then their will be no future everything will be the same as it is now. There are many things that arent right in this country and is speech is limited then these things wont ever change. I am a student and i think kids should be able to speek their tghoughts. If this student speech is limited then students shouldnt be able to speak or wear anyhting but a white t shirt and blue pants because the things that people wear might offend someone.

He wasn't even advocating the use of drugs, people don't seem to understand that. He was trying to prove a point. He might be a drug user, maybe not, he never actually said. But what he did do was use his freedom of speech to prove that we apparently don't have a freedom at all considering this huge fiasco that ensued. I think he should be allowed to put that up. After all, there's no profanity used, and if you don't like the banner, don't look at it. Would you seriously open a thread that says "pictures of dog shit" and then complain about what you saw? Nobody made you look.

Smoking weed worse than alcohol? Never in a day. Funny how most of the people who are against the drug know nothing about it.

To the point. His freedom of speech in my eyes were violated because he wasnt provoking the use of the drug or acting upon it. Therefore nothing was illegal.
