Bolting sub box to the trunk?

How do you guys go about securing your sub box to the trunk so it doesn't move around? I have an Accord and the gas tank is right below the trunk so I need some alternative ideas.

and also that theives can take it out so easily...

why dont you get some extension bars of some sort and bolt it to the upper wheel well?

That sucks...I have Lag Bolts (4) holding my box in. Gas Tank FTL

isnt it your spare compartment then your gas tank? I dont kno I had a 96 accord before and bolted down my box with no problems

Don't want to take any chances on a new car...

Would this work: Extend a piece of 3/4 MDF flush with the edges of the trunk and use L-brackets to secure it to the sides of the trunk. Then bolt the sub to the MDF.

i also have an accord.. i used some cheap brackets from home depot (L-Shaped) that had some slits in them, used some screws and screwed it in.. no problems

Would a piece of MDF be okay to hold down a 50 pound sub?
