Bolting down box?

What are the brackets called exactly that people use to bolt the box to their trunk? I need one because my box keeps sliding around whenever i make a turn

you dont need to bolt it down. that way, when someone rearends you and the box flies forward, it just knocks you out. or kills you. its really a gamble.

If you dont want the bolts and brackets to show you can always bolt the box down from the inside by removing the woofer(s) and going through the box itself (sealing it after its bolted).

Just be sure not to drill through anything important, like the gas tank or wiring!

im having the same problem, and its my carpet moving with the box. i'm trying industrial strength velcro from home depot and i'll see if that fixes my problem

Like the other guy said. " L" brackets from any hardware store. They work fine keeping my box from vibrating towards the back door of my X-Terra.

i have carpet underneath my carpet which isn't sliding. it's kinda weird, although i think i may be better off bolting down or using l brackets

there is no special bracket,, you bolt it down how ever you can, most people use an L shaped pice of metal. and call it a L bracket. . but they are the ****.
