Here is my take on the deal.

A deal is a deal he had all the time in the world to check the deck out its total ******** that he is saying he "never" had the time to do so. Takes 5 min tops I dont care if I got a deck from Jesus himself I would test it right in front of him and or as soon as I had a minute. Saying he didnt have time is no excuse. I work and go to school fulltime and do other stuff as well but I ALWAYS take a minute to test out audio equipment that I have gotten and or selling rep means nothing once that Item hits my hands it is on my bench in less then a week at most.

Bob has no buisness being a mod for one and two if he is deleting threads to cover his own *** is pretty pathetic, Really? over a 20 dollar alpine!?

If Bob would have taken 5 min (I think he did and it broke or he broke it) and tested this unit a week or so after he got it I am sure Geoff would be a LOT more understanding but months after?! no way way to many things could have happend in between the time of install and now.

I am not trying to take sides here but I am leaning towards Geoff for the sheer fact that Bob neglected to fully test the unit out 5 minutes of his supposed busy life would have saved him all this grief. Also why the positive feedback so many things just do not add up on his end.

no they arnt but it seems like they can do pretty much what ever they want and cover their tracks. granted most wouldnt do that.

I'll send the Alpine & wire, but then you owe me a $300 deck. I am at school 3 hrs from home. I can't help that you sent the deck in Dec, knowing I couldn't get to it. I said it would be best to wait. You sent it becausr you wanted tp, it isn't my fault the insurance ran out before I could get to it. not to be a **** but i live 3 hours from my other home where i receieve stuff and have a child and a job and i have made it home 3 times to work on installs and help a buddy out. 3 hours is not that far. Reguardless of your story or whos right and wrong looking at it from the outside in it just makes you look bad. your faulor not. and being a mod doesnt help you out either. you got alot stacked against ya
