I don't know. I think things got a little out of hand. I hate to be Captain Hindsight, but the situation could have been handled better.

Bob's thread was not an attack, he wasn't targeting you guys to ruin your reputation. At least that's how it was at first...things got worse near the end of the thread. Bob's crass attitude got the best of him.

I think what should have occurred is a discussion between all of you guys, and if things still didn't turn out well in the end or a resolution was not made, then this thread should have been made. If that was already the case, then I apologize for speaking too soon.

At the moment, I think the best solution would be for Bob to send the bad CD deck and the other Alpine to you/Moss, and you guys send the Kenwood back to him. The other Alpine could compensate for the bad Alpine. It would be a loss on Bob's part, but it would save him from bad feedback at least and probably being demoted.

I don't think it's easy enough to say anyone here is right or wrong. But someone needs to let go of their pride and be the bigger man.

I have proof of everything that he said, and I have proof he left me positive feedback. He also is the one that didn't test the deck for months, resulting in us not being able to file an insurance claim IF it was damaged in shipping. I do know the deck left in 100% working order.

i didnt see it i have just heard about it. If true that is messed up. Bob has taken care of all my problems mod wise but there is no place for scammers on this site

Exactly, he didn't fulfill his responsibilities as a buyer, so this is his fault.
