Ya Im curious how you mounted both pieces. When I built my door pods, I had to screw them onto the door and you could see the screw, which is fine when there carpeted like mine cause you can hide it. But I dont get how you guys mount panels like this without the mounts showing

In the pic below, I see mounting holes for the mids, which might lead me to think that the mids are mounted to the door panel, which is a no-no IMO. However, iirc, I remember you saying on diyma that they're not mounted to the door panel, but to the door itself.

Fiberglassed over them, there was nothing there before. The factory tweeters were in the doors above the spot for the factory 4"s

Sorry, no pics of behind the door panel but I'm taking the panels off the driver's side tomorrow to put in some more second skin. If I can remember mt camera I'll take some pics. The 6.5's are crossed over 60 @ 24db and I'm getting some faint rattling from the lower end.

more layers of second skin were put on today. No more rattles and my door panels weigh about 50 lbs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Mark and I did an RTA measurement of road noise and adjusted the bitone's dynamic EQ accordingly. Great results
