Exactly.True, I could run two woofers in the one chamber for now and pick up two later.
The pyramids actually have a 2.5" 4 layer aluminum coil for the 10 and 12", vented basket/spider and pole piece. The specs all the sellers have published are the specs from the older model, the newer ones are actually rated for 600w. Im dead serious man, after pounding some with 750w bass heavy music for about an hour, they dont even get warm.Wow, that's strong. Wish I would have looked around a little more, I was just afraid of the name. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
Blowing the RE's was completely my fault though. 900W @ 2 on the amp and only 350W worth of subs...
Other than that, I was completely happy with how good they sounded. Cheap China crap, maybe, but with a Fs of 20 they sounded so nice tuned down to 33.
I also paid around the same price for these as those Pyramids. The Pyramids are rated at 500W and these are only 175W, and the Pyramids have a 2" coil, the RE's have a 1.5".
Thats what i do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I "battled" a guy with 2 15" L7s on a zx1500 ported in an SUV who was talking all kinds of shit, with those 2 15s sealed in a trunk car i flat out embarrased him. VERY efficient subs with little power.Wow, impressive. I might just pick up a pair and another 1200D, then blow minds when I show people how loud Pyramid can be. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
