Blown Mid Range Speaker?

I installed a component speaker system in the front of my Honda Accord this weekend. Everything went well, except the right front mid-range speaker has a buzz that only occurs when low bass is played.

I do not believe it is engine or system noise going to the speaker, but insteads sounds like something is loose and vibrating....but nothing is...unless something inside the speaker itself if vibrating.

My first inclination is that the speaker is blown, but I do not have any experience with what that actually sounds likes.

If it was blown, the coil would have unwinded in the pole and froze. The rattling you hear is either the tinsel leads slapping against the cone, or the cone has ripped from the spider and the cone has no suspension anymore, causing it to flop around and make rattling sounds. Uninstall the speaker and take some pics for us.

Oh and when you blow a speaker, you'll know it. Smoke and coil glue ftl.

Make sure your woofer isnt hitting the inside of your door panel and making the plastic vibrate. Also do you have any sound deadener applied to your door?
Do have some sound deadener applied to the door and the speaker is not hitting the door panel as it was making the sound when I tested before I put the panel back on.

Also, don't know of any smells or burning.

I am at a loss. any other ideas? Your help is appreciated.

What year Accord, and did you use spacers, like most Accords/Hondas need?
It is an 2008 Accord EX-L w/Navigation. Yes, I did use a 3/4" spacer on the speaker.

However, as I have been thinking about it, do you think that if the speaker basket was touching the side of the hole that it would cause the door metal to vibrate at certain frequencies giving of the hum?
