blowing up 10 subwoofers with 120 volts.

Has anyone thought about wiring in a dimmer switch so you can start somewhat soft then gently take it to it's threshold, I would think it would make it a little more fun as you could abuse it longer, sorta like torturing vs. a bullet to the head. Still pretty cool .....and btw my 5yr old son has been staring at those jiggling flesh mounds like a fat kid looking at cake for like 10mins and I just now noticed, I was watching tv in between typing.

That is the perfect spot to do that. OEM sub may interfere with the new one and cause cancellation.

You can pull that amplifier and take to an Audio shop and see if they will test it. Most shops charge very little and some will not even charge...

Sounds like a bad ground or wiring problem on the 12v+ side.
