Hey,

I was cruising along today, and just as i got home, my amp shuts off. I get into the garage and take a look at the amp, no power, so i check the fuse on the amp, its still fine. I check the inline, and its blown, easy enough, i change it. I go on the deck again, and it blows not 3 seconds after i on the deck. I change it again, do the same, again not 3 seconds after i on the deck the fuse blows. Now this is getting extremely annoying.

Anyone one know what it could possibly be?

Thanks

First impression, if all was working OK beforehand, is the amp has internal issues //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Of course you need to check that your speaker wires aren't shorted before blaming the amp.

That is the perfect spot to do that. OEM sub may interfere with the new one and cause cancellation.

You can pull that amplifier and take to an Audio shop and see if they will test it. Most shops charge very little and some will not even charge...

Sounds like a bad ground or wiring problem on the 12v+ side.
