The real old school F series had Kicker on the cone written in gold lettering.

Edit: Thats not right, it was the Comp series that had the gold lettering.

I had comps just like these and they looked identical. They were real , purchased from crutchfield thru the mail in late 90's. Free airs looked identical to the comps back then and had the same power handling too.

just looked it up. they say 200 freeair , 300 in vented enclosure

My comps slammed and i was only running them off of a sony xm-4045. 40x4/100x2@4 ohms

tehy work great in ported boxes too. i've heard the 15's ported before. They were awesome!!
