Sorry for the confusion. I did have to make my own baffles, but instead of modifying the actual door panels to get them to fit, I cut notches out of the baffle I made, that way all clips still remain intact.

well that right there is how you did it. the depth of your pg rsd's
What is the mounting depth of your OEM's? I still had plenty of depth to use.

mounting depth is just under 3.25" but either way im happy how they turned out right now. so i wouldnt change a thing

well started on my box build today. box will be 5ft^3 net with (2) 6" aeros at 26.4" long a piece tuned @ 31hz.

all the boards cut and started putting it together. there are many times i wish i had the tools some others have for theres, but i work with what i got.

heres the start

and i decided to switch it up and go with black caulk, not a big deal just something different.

and last but not least......

it actually was on sale, i just wanted to see what it look like and to try a new brand. it doesnt matter to me to much as not many people will ever see the inside of my box.

Great! Its nice to see it coming along.

I don't have picture posting abilities at the moment but I'm just about ready to get everything in and powered up at least. Gotta do some resin to hold me speakers in and then run some power and tune the shit out of it for the month of June....lol

Again looks good. I may have to swing by when I ride Cburg this year.

What type of wood did you use?

novaply, it is alot like MDF but slightly less dense with less weight. and its cheaper. i had some left over from a previous build i did for a buddy, so i figured i would use it.

depending on how well it turns out and what i hit with this box i will most likely be building another box to try and yield better numbers. this box is going to be running aero's which i have never dealt with before so i didnt want to use MDF on it on my first trial.

depending on if im satisfied or not (which i most likely never am) i will be making another box, all MDF, resined and all for hopefully the final box.
