End of the Summer Project

Finally got to get the ball rolling and complete my budget summer project.

Equipment:

- Premier HU

- KNU 4AWG Flex Kit

- (2) SDC2.5 15's

- (1) AQ1200D

- Box = 8.1ish ft^3 @ 38Hz

Vehicle: '02 Escape

Still have to dial everything in a bit, but for now the AQ's destroy. Getting 12.8-13.2 on close to full tilt //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif so I doubt the amp is putting out 1200+...so I know there's still more to give!

It's been done for almost a week, just never had time to make a small log about it. VERY nice sounding woofers, they hound the lows way better than I expected and stay clean too!

Holes cut out, subs kinda wired. (not enough wood for double baffle)

Had a couple pics from when we first put it in the car, but they were so blurry I'm not gonna bother posting. I'm about to take more pics and try and snap a coupe videos in a bit if I'm not busy. But for now this is all I got.

Thanks for the input so far everyone.

I'm about to go take more pics and snap vids. Hopefully the spot where I go (secluded park...away from residential area's) has no people at it this time. Last night when I went there was a family with kids there. I didn't wanna be an a-hole and start blaring music so I figured I'd be respectful and hold off until today.

For the box, I'm going to use Rust-Oleum texture finish. Did a test on scrap MDF and it looks nice. Hopefully I can get it covered within a few days.
