Blackberry Bold. Opinions?

I like the email on it because I can set up my work (exchange) and personal (gmail, hotmail, and yahoo) with ease.
Oh and you can play music on it. 16 gigs worth if you go with that one.
bb does email, and messaging better, hands down. Also You can put up to a 16 gig card in the bb aswell;)

And it seems like the iPhone's data plan would be more expensive than the Blackberry's...
I want a phone that can get on the internet from pretty much anywhere, no wifi needed
iphone 3g is wifi, edge and 3g capable. I say go to a store and see for yourself.

Yeah sometimes you want to be different, but this isn't one of those times.

Take it from me, I have been using a blackberry the past 4+ years. It is part of my job to set them up at work for the attorneys that work here. I like the iPhone a lot better. But just go to a store and see for yourself.

iPhone>blackberry

Only thing I might consider over an iphone is a G1. If it had exchange capability, it would be better.

Having a bb for 4 years is one thing, but the bold has only been out a few months. It is nothing like any other bb. Much more powerful, much more capable, and you can actually send picture messages //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Yeah I'm probably gonna head to the att store and compare both prices and functionality of them later this week.
bold is quite a bit more. But if you think about the fact the iphone doesnt have insurance, then it evens... Or does it now? Maybe they changed that.

I set up a couple of those as well as a storm. Storm is terrible. I use a Pearl daily. had like 3-4 of the others

I'm not saying BB's ****, but i like iPhones more. But it still comes down to the user.

The Bold is the same price after the mail-in rebate, and I believe you're right about the insurance.

And by checking out the prices I mean the monthly data plans too

email is a little better to me because of a keypad. That's about it. You can't tell me you would prefer to go on espn.com or even ca.com on a Blackberry.
Yes, i like the trackball. I prefer it. Although the iphones browser is a little faster, but not by much. The browser on the bold is excellent... As for the storm, it is still very buggy, or was, and the os they released with the first bacth needed alot of work. Since then a new os has been made, and it runs much smoother.

Gotcha.. I guess the price has came down a bit then. I got it before it was released, but ya..

my 8310 does mms, has the marble, camera phone, accepts SD memory, has a video and mp3 player, speaker phone, BT, and full keyboard among other features. The bold CAN use WiFi to make a call...that's why my boss got it. The 8310 has everything I need as for business use I take a laptop anyway.

I didn't want to like the iPhone but it is cool. I haven't had much hands-on time with the bold but everyone I talk to likes it over other BBs.

i havnt used a bold yet, but i couldnt stand navigating menus and web browsing with a pearl my buddy has, just garbage

love my iphone, the first phone ive had that i cant really find anything to complain about, im never going back to WinMo, iphone OS is flawless, have only had to reset the phone like once or twice, where with my winmo phone it was an everyday task

there are a few things i would like it to have, but nothing that important in my everyday stuff

MMS would be nice but i never used it on any other phone ive had

copy paste- self explanatory

turn by turn navi

maybe itunes over 3g, sucks you have to be on wifi

and bluetooth transfer so i could use the iphone with my 3sixty.2

maybe sync music over wifi from computer to phone with out pluggin in

but thats scraping the bottom for some things

tons of apps, best music player on a phone period imo, touch screen is super smooth, i have those cheap phones with touch screen that can even scroll worth a flip, battery life is awsome coming from my treo, i can use it all day and at night i still have plenty of battery left
