Birth sheet & real output?

I have a question, concerning 2 amplifiers I am probably interested in:

- JL Audio 1000/1

- JL Audio 450/1

Anyone know what these amplifiers do really output?

I am having a hard time to find any birthsheets or reviews on these amplifiers. And I am really interested how much these amplifiers are underrated.

I suggest you buy amplifiers for their rated power. Most quality amps will do no less than rated power down to 12v, and those ratings are with a test tone - NOT MUSIC. And thats all that should matter in all honesty. What extra power it does up to 14.4 v is not too concrete to matter considering how voltage drops dynamically with the draw from the music signal. Most birtsheets will show you 14.4 v numbers.

rf amps do an etreme amount over what they are rated at at 14.4 volts so i'm not sure what point you were making their. jl amps are rated to do full power from 11.5-14.4 volts.

jl is for fan boys that want to spend money on the jl stamp. good stuff, waaaaaaaaay over priced. those are nice amps though and will do what they say and maybe a little more.

Thought sum1 might be interested. I don't believe that JL amps are as overrated as other amps. However, you can expect solid, clean power.

The Birthsheets that I have seen on the 1000/1 are in the 1200-1300 watt range.
