That shit ain' no joke. When I was into it, I had a 16-pound ALL METAL with titanium front-plate RC 4x4 that I was doing speed-passes with in a parking lot. I protected myself by staying on the elevated sidewalk. I was running it back and fourth, dialing in the steering, etc. At the time it was pulling around 51 MPH. During the speed passes, some very old lady was walking up the parking lot and I couldn't see her because of a bush in the way -- when the truck came zooming down to where she was she innocently lifted up one leg to let the truck fly by her and looked at me and said "cute toy" with a smile. If she didn't lift her leg out of the way just when she did, it would have been gone (literally). I don't think she had any idea. My heart was pounding. This truck would have gone through Shaq's leg as if it was balsa wood, much less an ol' lady's. Definitely lucked out on that one, and I thank her quick reflexes because at that speed there is no such thing as steering or brakes. Whew!

it was an 1/8 scale hpi savage 4x4. bout 11.5 pounds stock. he was doin about 30mph i would say.
