well....i fliped my truck earlier today and im prolly getting a 99 escort like later this week or the next and im lookin for a SQL with maybe 1 12, i thought aobut maybe a RE SE 12 or the PG Titanium 12s, what ever it is will prolly be in a 2cube box ported. and will need to be run of 1 or 2 dei 1100ds or a hifonics bx1500 (i think). what should i go with prolly wanna spend like 275 on 1 sub. thanks

well i mean it wasn't real bad...my brakes locked up and i slid into a curb and fliped, i wasnt hurt...nothin but a lil cut and bruise from the seat belt, i mean i was planning on getting a new car anyways its just now i have nothin to drive..and no stereo

i couldnt evn fit an re8 behind the seats in my ranger, i was having lemans build be a big ported box to go inbetween my seats for 1

justin thats why im kindof glad im getting a car because i've never had any real sound before just single 8s and some 10s i've owned 12s just i've had nowhere to put them, you think 1 12 se will get loud in an escort?

oh and BTW we fit 2 12 kicker comps the new style ones in my buddys 97 f150 reg cab

What's the mounting depth on those Comp 12's?

I've thought about Comps and CompVR's, but Kicker wants them in huge boxes (compared to other subs), so I've stayed away.

If you're going with 1 sub, if it were me, I'd get a 15. But that's just me. I've always wanted enough space to put a single 15 or an 18. When it comes to 10's and 12's, I'd rather have a pair. But, in a small car, one good 12, like an SE or an SX, should be fine.
