I currently have the box reccomended by RE, which is (to be exact) 4.41 Cubes at 33hz. I don't have enough low end though.
I'm thinking of modifying the box on the opposite side of the port, so the total length would be 45" instead of the 36". This would bring total net volume to 5.79 cubic feet, with a tuning of 28.65hz approx. which is perfect.
I've heard though that SE's don't particually like much bigger then the reccommended size.
Looking at the graph (Green = Current Box ; Red = Modified) it doesnt look like I would lose much output. But it's all driver dependent and I don't want to screw up my current box if it wouldn't work as good.
The one thing I don't want to do is lose output. I want better lows, but I don't want to sacrafice my output. Would this do what I'm thinking?
