Hopefully this thread is still here when you return so you can give back what isn't yours.

yes he would. then he could go after me for whatever it cost.
Why? Based on what legal grounds is the person in possession responsible for returning the subs?

So, if he simply drops the subs in his neighbor's driveway, the neighbor is now responsible as they are in possession of the sub and it is now his neighbor's responsibilty to send the subs to the rightful owner and then try and recoup the money from me?

So the next time I want to ship something, I can throw it in my neighbors yard, force them to ship it, and then let them try to get the money out of me?

Is that your line of reasoning?

if my neighbor drops shit off on my property i give it back to them. i don't put it in my garage and hold it hostage. if the neighbor continues to do this, i call the police.

so you line of reasoning is, i can take someone's subs, drop them off at a friend's house who agreed to store them (see this is where possession comes in), and leave for month's, and no one will be responsible because i just don't answer calls?

Someone is responsible. Lloyd is responsible. It is Hix's responsibility to return them to Lloyd.

I'm not going to jump on the who is responsibly for what train. My only question is how many subs were there? How many have been returned and how many are remaining? I thought the test was a pretty big one. Now if he has returned all but say the last 5% and something has come up, I say give the guy a break (things do happen). If pretty much all of them are there still and haven't been returned. I say call the police. This is theft/scam/etc.
