How does Hix owe the guy anything? The test agreement was between lloyd and the participants, not Hix and the participants.
From my understanding, Hix was trying to be nice and then it fell though. What obligation does he have to the guy? He didn't make the deal, lloyd did.

isn't possesion 9/10th's of the law? if i steal a car and drop it off at your house, you are responsible to either contact the police, or do something about it. if you just leave it sit in your driveway because i left it there, then you better believe you'll be responsible

it is your problem because you are in possesion of the subs. it's your responsibility to get them back to the owner. if it was originally lloyd's, then you get the $150 from lloyd.

So, if he dropped the subs off at your house, it would then be your responsibility to get them back to him?

No. I would call the police and then it would be out of my hands. It would not be my responsibilty to get the car back to its rightful owner.

yes it would be, but i don't associate with people who drop off other people's property and make me deal with it. if he were to go to court, he would be held responsible because he has possesion.

No it is not my responsibility, the subwoofers were left here to be in storage. If Loyd were to leave the subs at a U-Stor it facility would it be their responsibility to ship them? No. I owe nothing to the guy, as Flipx said, the agreement was between him and Loyd not between me or anybody else. I offered my garage as storage. That is it. I no long will be going to be shipping, offering to ship, or anything. He can contact loyd if he wants the subs back. Ill be dropping them off to him.

He would be responsible for not keeping it. He's not trying to keep it. I do not think he would be held responsible for returning it.

Say if it was damaged while in his possession, then yes Hix would be responsible. But the transfer of the asset back to its rightful owner is not his responsibility.

They wouldn't arrest anyone as there is documentation that he willfully sent the items to Lloyd.

If anything, I think the police would confisgate the subs from Hix and tell the poor chap he needs to find a way to get them home.

It is not stolen goods quite yet. More like unlawful possession. But not theft, there is a difference.

But I very much agree about dropping them off at Lloyds ASAP.
