It most retail organizations, the biggest loser is operational. People scanning 1 board instead of 2. People breaking merchandise, etc.

This is news to me...who knows what the arrangement was. But if they were blown, and the bailee was subject to ALL the benefits, I think we can all agree extraordinary care was not used if the sub was blown. However, he did realize he was sending subs to a "subwoofer competition" with possible blown subs a reality. Like I stated before, to get back to status quo (assuming subs were blown b4 the competition), call the po po, give em to the station as desk ornaments, and give the pigs something to laugh at.

There was no rules, per say, about damage subs. We all knew it was possible but we trusted the subs would not be pushed passed their limits unless instructed by the owner.

In my experience, most theft is done by employee's, not customers. But that would highly depend on the actual store/facility/security I imagine.
