Yes, it is - you're right. But....???What??? You do know that it is aginst the law for them to jack up the price during a desaster. I cant remember the exact amount, let me search.
U.S. refinery production was at 95% of max capacity before Katrina hit. 4 of those refineries are now offline. If we were almost at max capacity before Katrina - now that she's gone and 4 major plants are down as a result what do ya reckon that does to both supply and demand?
Demand>Supply=ever-increasing prices
