Big K and south La

???What??? You do know that it is aginst the law for them to jack up the price during a desaster. I cant remember the exact amount, let me search.
Yes, it is - you're right. But....

U.S. refinery production was at 95% of max capacity before Katrina hit. 4 of those refineries are now offline. If we were almost at max capacity before Katrina - now that she's gone and 4 major plants are down as a result what do ya reckon that does to both supply and demand?

Demand>Supply=ever-increasing prices

congrats.... do you know how lafette is? my neighbors have cousins from there up here and they havent heard anything ffrom anyone.
glad you made it.......now all we have to do is find decipha

Lafayette faired the storm very well. It hit just far enough East to where we really didn't have any problems at all. Actually, we got a real nice breeze lol. A couple small limbs down in my yard, but that's about it.

I agree with you there, I was just talking about individual sales, not refineries and government. When $6 was said it seemed to me like they were jacking up the prices, which is against the law.

at the beginning of the thread as i was reading Negative saying how he's not going to leave and he's 60 miles out of NO and all that shit i was expecting to not have heard anything from him.

but he chased off mobs with his gunsthat were trying to steal his shit?

thats crazy!!! god, fkin riot scene down there

Most of the people whose houses actually survived the storm, lost everything to the looters. A lot of people are not going back. They are starting new lives throughout the rest of South Louisiana and Texas, namely Baton Rouge, Houston, and Lafayette.

YEARS, in New Orleans, They are speculating that all of the people that are being moved to the Astrodome in Houston will be living in the dome for some where around 6 months to a year. I cant even imagine, what that would be like......Living with other people in a dome like that. sheeesh

I heard that they may have to stay in the Astrodome for 1 month:confused: I really don't see them being able to support that many people for 6 months or longer.

EDIT: And yes, New Orleans will probably never be the same.

By the way, Mardi Gras is going to be crazy for us this year. Lafayette was always second only to New Orleans.

Nope, i am volunteering for the red cross, and i heard today that they are gonna alow people to enroll there kids in school down there and every thing, but i hope you are right, 6 months would be torture, i mean those people are already killing themselves and killing and raping others in the super dome, and they have only been there for less than a week

Sh*t, there's a girl who got ***** here! In a shelter for the refugees.

And I already knew about the schools. In fact, there are many people transfering over to my school.

I go to LSU and as i stated earlier in this thread, 2 people were murdered and 4 women ***** ON CAMPUS yesterday, in the daytime. This crap is getting crazy, thats why im heading for S-Port, although i would rather go to mexico and sit on a beach and drink margaritas all day and night, but i dont have that much money
