Big 3 voltage increased?

Got a question, I got mine big 3 done 3 weeks ago at a shop with stock electricals and didn't notice any voltage increase but helped a buddy of mine today and his actually went up 14.8. Mines before and after were the same, 14.2. Just wondering if the shop did something wrong.

Voltage doesnt go up by doing big 3. The alt has a factory charging voltage. your buddy probably had a low battery charge and after doing big 3 it helped the alt charge it up to potential but the stock voltage wont improve.
