Using a max of 2000 watts

is 4 gauge OFC wire large enough for the Big 3 Upgrade under the hood.

Thought about using 4 gauge for more ease of use with the wire lugs around the alternator and easier to bend around the motor under the hood

I will be using 0 gauge for my power run to the back of the car where I will have the distribution fuse blocks to the amps.

If need be I will also have a battery in the trunk of the car.

That being said is 4 gauge enough for the big 3

Bigger is better, but 4 will still be an upgrade over stock. If you leave the factory wires in place, you'll likely be close to the equivalent of a 0.
