Your stock battery should be on the passenger side. Get the stock bolt/hold down bracket from GM, slap a 2nd battery on the driver's side, run a huge *** positive cable from the alt to batt positive, run 1 huge *** cable from batt neg to frame just below, and run 1 more huge *** cable from batt neg to engine block. Easy peasy.

I was going to use the wire and not a 2nd battery... but thanks for the input!

Use a 2nd battery

just do what was mentioned above and if you need to ever add a second battery just add a little more wire from + to + and - to chasis
