bi amping plz explain

I just got my zapco dc reference 1000.4 hooked upinstaller said he biamped it

so i really dont know the term to well but i just got my ck16 installed yesterday going active and the sound great. the installer said we were biamping instead of using the crossovers. Well anyways this is a 4 chan amp so shouldn't i be using 2 syblink boxes and not just one cause i have 4 chans but i only see one syblink box they hooked up i thought i needed 2 boxes 1 for 1/2 ch and the other for ch 3/4? can someone help me with this question.
