Beware AQ HDC3 Issues ??

Basically is what im saying. If you Buy one don't throw 3kw to it

user error, no reason that should have happened. what enclosure where they in and tuned to what? you most likely didnt do anything to spec. i have seen them take 3000 and nothing like this was close to happening

Ive read read alot about the HDC3's and i thought they might be able to handle the power but obviously i was wrong. Just a precaution to beware of what your purchasing.

User error is what I'm getting at too. I run an HD3 on 3kw+ daily and haven't had any sort of problems for about the 2 years I've been beating em like my third wife.

Now that I think about it, you should have been able to smell the coils if you were pushing em too hard and that is a sure sign to stop.

I dont really see this as bashing the company or product at all....

there has been a lot of talk on here about the driver taking 3-4k daily and Nate is simply posting this as a warning.

Now whether it was the box/ user or w/e he is just posting that 3k daily could crisp this bad boy
