60+??? maybe if he builds it himself. the last ported box i had made was for 2 10's @ 1cu per sub ported and it was 240.

fukkkkk. Go kick your self in the face homie. It never costs more than $20 for any kind of box i build (no carpet). Thats crazy. I bet its tuned at 45 hz too haha.

Lets say I end up buying a new CVR off of ebay for $70. THen lets say another $40 for building the new box. That totals to around $110.

Now I assume that there is no 12" sub that I can buy (new OR used) that is going to be louder than 2 12" CVR for $110...

Correct. Even if you found a nice 15" the 2 cvr's are going to be a better buy. I thought we already concluded this. Having some doubts now.

No, just making sure. It makes sense to me that the 2 12"s should be noticeably louder.

Basically, I am going to be in the market for a used CVR until maybe christmas break, or even the summer...

Im sure the CVRs will still be on ebay, and there is no point on spending that money until I am actually going to be home...

Ok, so I found someone selling a Dual 4 CVR. It has 2 blemishes, but is supposedly in perfect condition. This is how the person described it to me:

"IT IS THE 05 MODEL (DUAL 4 OHM) WITH TWO MINOR BLEMISHES AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICS. NEITHER OF THESE ARE HOLES. ONE IS LIKE A MINOR CHIP AND THE OTHER IS JUST AN EXTERIOR SCUFF. NEITHER EFFECTING HOW THE SUB WORKS, JUST EXTERIOR MARKS.

THIS SUB IS TOTALLY FUNCTIONAL AND WORKS GREAT."
