better sq with 300 watts rms? IDQ 10 or SSA Dcon 10?

i'm looking in to getting a small standard cab pickup (Mid 90's tacoma) and wanna do a small sq install.

i have some of this stuff already but heres the setup.

Kenwood HU

Audiocontrol epic160 in dash epicenter

Audiocontrol four.1 in dash eq

PPI PC250 @ 2ohm stereo running ID cxs62v.2 components

PPI PC275 @ 4ohm bridged running the sub but i havent chosen the sub as of yet

i love ppi amps. you might need to upgrade your charging system though. they enjoy feasting on power.

these are the babies. they play great in my van with stock alt and big 3 with single walmart battery. no v-drop at all.

that's good. the 90 amp alternator in my s10 didn't like the pc or art series amps. that 90 amps was probably at higher rpm then idle though.

my mtx thunder 500d was bad like that. in my 89 camaro i could drop to 9.5 at idle and 10 while revving. no upgrades at all though. not even a big 3. but i can honestly say thats the best sub amp i have owned that was under 1k watts. i miss it.

not really sure. i never had the power to find out what the draw was. i ran 2 type R's off it for a few months, but i was always stressed about turning up the volume and running that beautiful amp under 12 volts, so i took it out.

ahhh, regrets. i actually really like this JL g1700 im running (crackhead special on craigslist). i have a redtop and big 3, but the same stock alty. im reading now that i get around 35 amps at idle with it. at full tilt it stays above 13.

the dayton titanic 10 from parts express would have nice sq with the ppi amp.

yeah. 700 at 2 ohms. it seems to be right at about 700, no more no less. this diamond audio d6 handles more power than it actually can put out. nice amp though.
