better SQ: SE or SX?

simple search would have gave you all your answers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. But yes the SX is known as an spl oriented sub with fair sq(prolly a hit or miss like usual though; love it or hate it.) The SE is suppose to get pretty **** loud and sound good doing so. Only RE sub I have heard is my XXX, so I dont know from experience. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif.

I used to own an SE. I just sold it actually to someone locally. I had my 12" SE in a 2 cube net box tuned at 33hz. It got freakin louuud for just a single sub, and the best part is I was only giving it 300 watts. It sounded very good IMO, and I probably didn't have it EQ'd right.

just my $0.02, and I have heard a XXX which btw does sound better.

i hate to go off topic, but while we are on the subject of the SE... do i wire it like this? hooked up to a jl 500/1 amp

also, will 12 gauge wire going from my amp to the SE be ok?
