Better spl or sq

I have two kicker comp 15 in a ported probox and i have them facing towards the trunk which would give me better spl keeping them faced this way or facing them towards the back seat

I can not let down my back seat so would it be better to have a ported or sealed box for better sq

Ported box for Spl, sealed for SQ, but Kicker Comps arent really SQ subs, more of a budget spl.

Facing them away from you usually makes the sound "boomier", and facing them fowards makes the sound a little tighter and "punchier".
