Lookin to get a nice set of Comps in the new ride. Lookin to get some 6.5's with nice bass and tweets that complete the sound. I listen to rap and rock

the CDTs are smooth very bassy and get pretty loud.. they do have a tad lacking midrange but you can get good midrange with the proper placement and EQing..

im not sure exactly what you want to accomplish but if you want some subbass(70hz down) id suggest a 3way set..

id grab some 8" midbass like peerless, hybrid or speak scan with a nice paper midrange like dynaudio, DLS or CDT es04(actually fiber but top notch) and a good soft domed tweeter like the CDT drt 26 or rainbow cal 26s..

cdt m6's can put ouy nice bass from a 6.5 driver
