Im not really impressed with this, they start sounding shitty with alot of bass. The way they are installed is they were drilled to my doors. I was wondering if i buy taco tunes spacer would it help make it sound better?

This is the amp thats pushing all my speakers

I would love to have more midrange. I cant hear my drum rolls as clean as other peoples STOCK stereos i have heard. My girlfriends explore mid range sounds better than my truck now thats sad. I love that sweat TOM sound coming from drums. Espically drum rolls. But i dont get that. I was wondering what are some good setting to run like at what frequencys.

This is not my actual head unit but the specs are the same this is my H/U new model.

I hope someone can help me out. I also have all my doors dynmatted and still not as good midrange i thought i should have. Espically with those speakers. Hope someone can helps thanks in advance.

Where do you have them crossed over at? You cant just expect a ton of bass from them, you need a dedicated subwoofer for everything in the low HZ range like 80 and below or 60....then the mids you would run above that level....

the mids are between 63-80hz my sub is at 80 i can go to 50 on the sub fromt headunit. No bass boost on the amp either. And still sounds flat to me. Stock sounded better.

Sounds like an installation problem to me then...they are getting enough power....

You need sound deatening (dammit i can never spell that right) pronto....that should dramatically increase your midbass when done right....

Read this page http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/ Will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

My doors are dynammted inner and outer. Really good too. I even have ensolite foam. The only thing is that they are drilled to the door its self mabye baffles might help?

^^^Ooo I missed that part....yes baffles out of MDF with clay (or some other sealant, maybe silicone) on the outer edge to seal it completely....should help....

Also do you have any pics of the deadening? There might be a flaw there...

I doubt it man. i got the whole door. and the ensoilte foam is on top of it now so a pic wont really help. But yeah ill try getting some mdf baffles for those speakers. Hopefully it helps. Thanks man, any more input would be great. Any nice inexpisive midrange speakers that you recommend would be cool.
